Spoonbar Harvest Dinner with Preston Farm and Winery

Please join Spoonbar Chefs Casey and Patrick Van Voorhis, Preston Farm and Winery, and Red Bird Bakery for an evening celebrating a successful harvest and our local community. We’ll be pairing Preston wines with three courses of family-style dining and breaking bread together. Corkage is waived for this communal event, so please bring a bottle to share with friends.

U-Pick Pumpkin Patch

Starts October 6th

Excited to announce our U-Pick pumpkin patch opens Friday October 6th! We’ll have all shapes and sizes, from Jack-Be-Littles to Big Max giant pumpkins. Come out and pick your own or choose from our stash on the front porch. You can find everything from edible winter squash (hello Butternut!!) to cute gourds and heirloom pumpkins perfect for seasonal decorating and feasting. Hope to see you out there!

Seven% Solution

July 22 1 to 5 pm

Join us July 22 at Front Porch Farms in Healdsburg for the Seven% Consumer tasting. 93% percent of all Northern California Vineyard acreage is dedicated to just 8 main varietals. This unique tasting highlights the “other 7%.”

Community Farm Dinner

Saturday June 24, 2017, 5-8pm

Preston teams up with Chef Brandon Guenther of Rocker Oysterfeller’s in Valley Ford, CA to offer a dinner featuring Preston produce, lamb, bread and olive oil paired with our estate-grown, organic & Biodynamically-farmed wines. This family-style meal will have multiple courses, each made from Preston-farmed ingredients and paired with a Preston wine.

The cost is $125 per person, Preston wine club members are $110. 21 and over only please.

Biodynamic Winemaking Panel and Tasting

Join our Assistant Winemaker Dan Ditzler at this great discussion. It will be at the Healdsburg Shed and cost $15.

Sonoma County boasts the highest number of Biodynamic farms in the country, and Biodynamic vineyards are leading the pack. What is Biodynamic winegrowing all about, and why are Biodynamic wines so highly regarded? Join Daphne Amory and an all-star cast of Biodynamic wine grape growers and winemakers in an enlivening and engaging panel discussion as they explore and shift the boundaries of winemaking today. This event includes a tasting of Biodynamic wines after the panel discussion.

This workshop is part of a series presented with Demeter and the Biodynamic Association. Please plan on joining us for the monthly sessions to learn about all aspects of Biodynamic farming

Preston Lamb for Sale

Pasture Raised Whole Lambs

Would you like to purchase our naturally raised, grass-fed lamb? All our animals are entirely pasture raised on our certified Organic and Biodynamic farm and winery.

The pricing for a whole lamb (around 50 lbs) is $7 per lb. Harvest and cut-and-wrap fee, about $100, is paid separately to Willowside Meats in Santa Rosa.

Call or email to add your name to our list for lambs. To reserve a lamb we ask for a $125 deposit. The balance is charged when the exact weight is known. Supply may be limited and orders will be filled on a first paid basis.

We also have frozen ground lamb and Mergeuz Sausage in our farm store if you are not ready to commit to an entire lamb.

Now Tasting Hard Cider at Winery

Fall 2016

We are now pouring our estate-grown hard apple cider in the tasting room on Saturdays from 12 to 2pm. It’s crisp, dry and organic. Only 90 cases produced.
